Hague Circle - International Council for Steiner Waldorf Education
The Waldorf school and kindergarten movement has grown continuously since 1919 and is today a worldwide education movement. Since 1971, representatives of national school movements have been in communication with one another in the "Hague Circle" (HC) about the inner motifs of Waldorf education, about developments in the education work and to take cognizance of the worldwide school movement. The International Council is an organ of the international Waldorf education movement and works closely together with the Pedagogical Section at the Goetheanum. The members of the International Council together with the national associations, IASWECE (International Association for Steiner/Waldorf Early Childhood Education) and further organisations wish to contribute to carrying responsibility for Waldorf education worldwide.
